Gota Coffee Experts, Create Athens, Stronghold
Tell us about yourself:
Instead of being a lawyer, I decided to become a coffee nomad ;) I come from Poland, but I have also lived in Berlin and now reside in Vienna. Thanks to my international work, I am thrilled to see how the European coffee scene has been developing and improving every year and has allowed me to make lovely and unique friends everywhere. Being on the world stage is a beautiful culmination of my hard work and dedication in the industry, and I couldn't be prouder to finally represent my team and country, which I have chosen to live in.
What are you excited to do while you visit Busan?
I will be visiting Busan for the first time, although I have already been to South Korea. I am excited to explore more of the country and its culture.
What are your interests outside of coffee?
Traveling, yoga, tea, gin, and wine!
Is there anyone you would like to thank or recognize or who helped you to prepare for the WBC?
I am grateful to have an amazing group of people who have helped, supported, and motivated me to get where I am today.
Firstly, I want to thank my coach, Stefanos Domatiotis, and the entire team at Create Athens. Stefanos has an exceptional approach, skills, and vision that are truly remarkable, and I believe every competitor should have the chance to work with someone as wonderful as he and his team.
I also want to thank my Viennese family—Gota Coffee Experts and Markus Brun. They have been with me since my competition journey in Austria began, supporting all my crazy ideas and last-minute changes.
Finally, I want to thank my Korean team—Stronghold Technology, for supporting me and my decisions and allowing me to grow as a person and improve my skills, not just in coffee-related areas.
Oh, and last but not least, our SCA Austria Chapter for the fantastic job they do for us as competitors.
